French Onion Soup Recipe
Ingredients
| Onions | 2 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), thinly sliced | |
| Butter/Margarine | 2 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Beef broth | 3 Can (10oz), condensed | |
| 1 teaspoon Worchestershire sauce | ||
| 2 French or hard rolls, sliced and toasted | ||
| Grated Parmesan cheese | ||
Directions
Cook onions in butter till lightly browned.
Add broth and Worcestershire.
Bring to boil; season with salt and pepper.
Sprinkle toast with Parmesan cheese.
Pour soup into bowls; float toast.
For a gourmet touch, place in preheated broiler a few seconds till cheese is lightly browned.
