Simple French Onion Soup Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 large or 3 medium onions, sliced | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 6 cubes or teaspoons beef bouillon | ||
| Paprika | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| French bread slice | 6 , toasted | |
| Grated Parmesan cheese | ||
Directions
In 4-quart casserole or Dutch oven, combine onions and butter.
Cook, uncovered, 7 minutes or until onions are limp, stirring occasionally.
Add water, bouillon, paprika, Worcestershire sauce and pepper.
Cook, covered, 7 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
