French Onion Soup Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1 Can (10oz), condensed | |
| 1 soup can water | ||
| 3 thin slices French bread, toasted | ||
| 3/4 cup grated | ||
| Gruyere or Swiss cheese | ||
Directions
In saucepan, combine soup and water; heat.
In individual serving bowls, place a slice of French bread; top with cheese.
Pour in hot soup.
Broiler Method: Pour heated soup into individual oven-proof serving bowls.
Place bread on top; sprinkle with cheese.
Broil until cheese melts.
