Ingredients

 Large onions - 4 , thinly sliced
 Butter/Margarine1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Condensed beef broth - 3 cans (10 1/2 -ounce)
 Worcestershire sauce1 Teaspoon
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 French or hard rolls - 2 , sliced and toasted
 Grated Parmesan cheese OR shredded sharp natural Cheddar cheese

Directions

MAKING
1.Take a large saucepan and heat butter in it.
2.Saute onions for 20 minutes in it until light brown.
3.Stir in the broth and Worcestershire sauce.
4.Let the mixture boil.
5.Add a sprinkling of salt and pepper to it.
6.Place the mixture until a broiler so that the cheese turns light brown in color.

SERVING
7.Serve warm in bowls garnished with cheese toast.
