French Onion Soup Recipe
Ingredients
| Chopped instant onions - 1 2 cups | ||
| Butter | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Hot water | 4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Beef flavor base - 2 tablespoons | ||
| Bay leaf | 1/2 | |
| Black pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Marjoram | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Herb croutons | ||
| Parmesan cheese - Grated | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) In melted butter, brown the onions over low heat. Ensure that the onions do not burn.
2) Add hot water, bay leaf, beef flavor base, pepper and marjoram.
3) Simmer the contents for about 20 minutes.
SERVING
4) Serve the French Onion Soup piping hot. Top individual servings with grated Parmesan cheese and Herb Croutons
