French Hamburgers Recipe
Ingredients
| Milk | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| 1/4 cup sharp process cheese spread, softened | ||
| 1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing | ||
| 3 tablespoons thinly sliced green onion | ||
| 1/2 teaspoon mixed salad herbs, crushed | ||
| Seasoned salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Lettuce | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), shredded | |
| Ham slice | 8 , boiled | |
| 4 sesame seed hamburger buns or 8 slices rye bread | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sliced tomatoes | ||
Directions
Gradually beat milk and egg into cheese spread.
Set aside.
Combine mayonnaise, onion, salad herbs, and seasoned salt; mix with lettuce.
Place two 1-ounce ham slices on bun half or bread slice.
Top with lettuce mixture and close bun or add second slice bread.
Dip in cheese-milk mixture and brown on both sides in melted butter in skillet, about 5 minutes.(Electric skillet 350°.)
Serve immediately with sliced tomatoes.
