French Fried Potato Balls Recipe
Ingredients
| Cottage cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs), drained | |
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped | |
| Egg | 1 , Well beaten | |
| 3 cups cooked, mashed potatoes | ||
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Paprika | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Dry mustard | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Horseradish | 2 Teaspoon, freshly grated | |
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Milk | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 8 cups corn flakes, crushed, or 2 cups cornflake crumbs | ||
Directions
Combine cottage cheese, onion, egg, potatoes, seasonings, and horseradish; mix well.
Shape into small balls, about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
Beat eggs and milk together.
Roll balls in cornflakes crumbs, then in egg-milk mixture; roll again in cornflake crumbs.
Fry in deep hot oil at 375° about 2 minutes, or until crisp and well browned.
