French Fried Gruyere Sandwich Recipe
Ingredients
| Deviled ham | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Mayonnaise | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Parsley flakes | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Sandwich bread slice | 8 | |
| Gruyere cheese slice | 8 | |
| Milk | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Sesame seed | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Butter | 4 Tablespoon |
Directions
In small bowl, combine deviled ham, mayonnaise, and parsley flakes.
Spread equal amounts of ham mixture on 1 side of 4 slices of bread.
Place 2 slices of Gruyere cheese on top of each spread slice of bread.
Cover with plain bread slice.
Beat milk, egg, and sesame seed together.
Dip each sandwich into egg-milk mixture on both sides until all mixture is absorbed.
Fry each sandwich in 1 tablespoon butter until golden brown on both sides.
