French Fried Cauliflower Au Gratin Recipe
Ingredients
1 small head cauliflower
2 eggs
2 tablespoons water
2 1/2 cups fine cracker crumbs
Vegetable oil
Cheddar Cheese Sauce
Directions
Remove large outer leaves of cauliflower.
Break cauliflower into flowerets.
Cook, covered, in a small amount of boiling salted water 8 minutes or until crisp tender; drain.
Combine eggs and water; beat well.
Dredge flowerets in cracker crumbs; then dip in egg.
Dredge again in cracker crumbs.
Deep fry in hot oil (375°) until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels.
