French Bean Salad Recipe

Ingredients
| 1 cup dry baby limas or navy beans | ||
| Carrot | 1 | |
| Stalk celery | 1 | |
| Onion | 1/2 Small | |
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1/2 cup commercial French dressing | ||
| Onion | 2 Tablespoon, minced | |
| Parsley | 3 Tablespoon, minced | |
| Chervil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1 tablespoon marjoram or thyme | ||
| black pepper | 1 | |
Directions
Soak beans overnight in cold water; drain.
Simmer with the carrot, celery, and onion in salted water until just tender, about 25 to 30 minutes; drain.
Remove carrot, celery, and onion and stir french dressing into the beans.
Chill for several hours, stirring occasionally to distribute the marinade.
When ready to serve, taste for salt, then put beans in a bowl and sprinkle with minced onion, herbs, and pepper
