Ingredients

 Lima beans1 pound, drained
 Water6 Cup (16 tbs)
 1/2 pound pork-sausage links
 1 pound boneless lean lamb, cubed
 Onions2 , chopped
 Garlic2 Clove (5gm), minced
 Rosemary leaves1/2 Teaspoon, crumbled
 Salt2 Teaspoon
 Pepper1 Dash
 Red wine3/4 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat moderate oven (350°F.)

MAKING
2) In a saucepan put beans, cover with water and boil for 2 minutes.
3) Let the pan stand covered for 1 hour.
4) If required add more water and cook till done.
5) Drain beans and keep aside 1 1/2 cups liquid.
6) Halve sausages and brown in fat. Drain.
7) Brown lamb, onion, and garlic.
8) Arrange lamb mixture into 3-quart casserole.
9) Add seasonings and wine.
10) Place in oven and bake covered for 1 hour.
11) Mix beans, sausage, and bean liquid.
12) Bake covered for further 1 1/2 hours.

SERVING
13) Serve hot.
