French Baguette with Butter and Prosciutto Recipe
Ingredients
| French Baguettes- 3 to 4 -€™s, cut into 8 -€™s (roughly 7 inch pieces) and sliced horizontally | ||
| Green Scallion- 12 -€™s, finely chopped | ||
| Italian parsley- ½ cup, finely chopped | ||
| Extra-virgin olive oil- 1 cup | ||
| Kosher salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Unsalted butter- 2-3 sticks (8-12 oz), softened | ||
| Prosciutto- 12 oz, thinly sliced into 48 pieces | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. In a medium sized bowl, combine olive oil, salt, scallions and parsley. Mix well and keep aside.
2. On a baguette piece, apply 1 tablespoon prepared oil and 3 tablespoons butter.
3. Top with 6 slices of prosciutto and cover with remaining halved baguette.
4. Follow same procedure for remaining mixture.
SERVING
5. Serve immediately.
