Ingredients
8 frozen chicken legs or thighs
1/4 cup water
3 tablespoons teriyaki sauce or soy sauce
1 9 ounce package frozen Italian green beans
2 cups frozen crinkle-cut carrots
2 11 ounce packages frozen long grain and wild rice
2 tablespoons slivered almonds
Directions
Run warm water over frozen chicken and tap lightly on countertop to separate pieces.
In a 12 inch skillet combine the frozen chicken pieces, water, and teriyaki or soy sauce.
Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer about 30 minutes or till almost tender.
Meanwhile, transfer frozen vegetables to a colander and place under hot running water till separated.
Add the vegetables and frozen rice to skillet.
Return to boiling; reduce heat.
Cook, covered, for 10 to 15 minutes more or till the chicken and vegetables are tender, stirring once or twice to break up rice.
Before serving, sprinkle almonds atop.
