Frankfurter Reuben Recipe
Ingredients
12 slices rye bread butter
6 large frankfurters
1/3-1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing
1 cup sauerkraut, well drained
6 slices Swiss cheese
Directions
Toast and butter bread.
Split frankfurters in half lengthwise; place on 6 bread slices.
Divide dressing on frankfurters; add 2 Tbsp.
sauerkraut per sandwich.
Top each with cheese slice.
Cover with remaining bread.
Microwave (high) as follows, rotating 1/4 turn halfway through cooking:
