Frank Triangles Recipe
Ingredients
| Frankfurters | 8 | |
| Butter or margarine | ||
| 8 slices bread, crusts removed | ||
| Parmesan cheese | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| Prepared mustard | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 3 Tablespoon, finley chopped | |
| 16 pimiento-stuffed green olives | ||
Directions
Place frankfurters in boiling water; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes.
Drain.
To make each triangle, butter bread.
Dip slices in cheese, buttered side down.
Spread other side of bread with mustard.
Sprinkle each mustard spread side with about 1 teaspoon onion.
Place a frank diagonally across each slice.
Fasten two opposite corners of slice, cheese side out, with wooden picks.
Place on side on broiler rack.
Broil 3 inches from heat 2 to 3 minutes.
Turn triangles over.
Broil 2 to 3 minutes more.
Trim with olives on wooden picks.
