Fork Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
250 gm/1/2 lb butter
1/2 cup sugar
21/2 cup all purpose flour
Directions
Put butter and sugar in a bowl and beat till fluffy.
Use your hands and gather the mixture together into soft but not sticky dough.
Roll on the balls about the size of walmuts and place well apart on the baking sheet.
Dip a fork into cold water and press on top of each ball to flatten it and imprint the fork pattern.
Bake in batches in a 350 degrees preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the cookies are a very pale golden colour. Transfer on wire rack to cool.
Store in a air tight jar.
