Football Pate Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Mushrooms | 2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Onion | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Canned liverwurst spread or liverwurst 24 oz. | ||
| Sausage | ||
| Brandy flavoring 1 tsp. | ||
| Onion powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Peppercorns and pimiento | ||
Directions
Melt butter in frying pan.
Add mushrooms and onion.
Saute until onions are clear and soft, and mixture is fairly dry of moisture.
Stir in next 3 ingredients.
Put into bowl.
Chill.
Remove from bowl.
Shape into football.
Place on tray.
Cover and chill until needed.
Garnish with peppercorns and strips of pimiento to resemble a football.
Serve with crackers.
