2 cups green beans, cooked and drained
 
3 tablespoons vinegar
 
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
 
1 tablespoon sugar
 
1 tablespoon chicken broth, or 1 tablespoon hot water
 
and 1/8 teaspoon instant chicken bouillon
 
Dash dill seed
 
Dash pepper
 
1 tablespoon corn starch
 
1 tablespoon water
 
2 packed cups chopped cabbage

Directions

Combine vinegar, butter, sugar, chicken broth, dill seed and pepper in 1 1/2 -quart casserole.
MICROWAVE 1 to 2 MINUTES on HIGH, or until mixture begins to boil.
Mix corn starch and water together.
Stir into boiling liquid.
MICROWAVE 2 MINUTES on HIGH, or until mixture thickens.
Stir in cabbage.
Cover.
MICROWAVE 3 to 4 MINUTES on HIGH, or until cabbage is tender.
Stir in cooked green beans.
Let stand 3 minutes, covered.
