Fondue Neuchateloise Recipe

1 garlic clove
6 tablespoons dry white wine
3/4 Ib. each Swiss cheese and Gruyere cheese
5 teaspoons cornstarch
1 small glass kirsch
Salt
Pepper
Nutmeg
Directions
Rub fondue pot of casserole with clove of garlic; pour in the wine and heat; shred cheese, add and heat to a creamy consistency, stirring constantly.
Mix cornstarch with kirsch and add it to the cheese when cheese starts to bubble.
Season to taste.
Place pot on an alcohol burner on a metal tray at the table.
