3 tablespoonful butter
 
1 cupful powdered sugar
 
2 eggs, separated
 
1/2 teaspoonful vanilla
 
1/2 cupful cream, whipped

Directions

Cream the butter and sugar together.
Add the well-beaten egg yolks and beat throughly over hot water in a double-boiler.
Remove from the heat and fold in the stiffly beaten egg-whites, the vanilla, and the whipped cream.
Serve with hot gingerbread, steamed or baked pudding, etc.
