Fluffy Pecan Torte Recipe
Ingredients
| Egg whites | 3 | |
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Dash | |
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pecans | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 3 cups bite-size toasted corn | ||
| Cereal crushed to 1 cup | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
MAKING
2. Take a 8 in or 9 in pie plate and grease generously with butter. Beat the egg white till a soft peak is formed. Stir in sugar, salt and baking powder. Beat till sugar dissolve and till meringue turns stiff.
3. Add pecans, cereal crumbs and vanilla and spread evenly on the greased pie plate. Bake for half an hour or till slightly brown, take out and allow to cool.
SERVING
4. Sprinkle nuts on the top, slice and serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
