Flour Dumpling Recipe

My friend’s daughter Yenene likes this Flour Dumpling recipe. Though she is 15 years old, but she has mastered the cooking technique of this dish. Ingredients

 
4 c. flour
 
8 tbsp. baking powder
 
2 egg, well beaten
 
6 tbsp. butter, melted
 
1 c. milk
 
salt to taste

Directions

Step1-Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
Step2-Quickly stir in blended mixture of beaten eggs, butter and milk.
Step3-Drop by spoon into plain boiling water.
Step4-Cover kettle tightly and cook 20 minutes.

My grandmother often made a chicken stew with dumplings-her family were from Devon. I have cheated when in a hurry and made dumplings using Bisquick-works great too. Shanti/Mary-Anne
