Flounder with Mushroom Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Flounder fillets - 3 pounds | ||
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Soy flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Mushrooms | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), canned | |
| Sweet basil sprig | 1 | |
| Allspice | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Thyme Sprig | 1 | |
| Parsley sprigs | 2 | |
| Bay leaf | 1 | |
| Sea salt and paprika to taste | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven moderate to 375°.
MAKING
2) In a bowl add fish. Sprinkle sea salt and paprika over it. Coat evenly.
3) Bake with 1/2 cup water for 25 minutes.
4) Take off from oven.
5) In a skillet, melt butter. Stir in flour and mix until smooth.
6) Take off from heat.
7) Mix remaining ingredients and liquid from fish.
8) Cook and stir gently over low heat until thick.
9) Score top of fish and pour sauce over it.
10) Bake in oven for 15 minutes.

11) Serve hot.
