Florida Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| 125 g/4 oz cream cheese | ||
| Single cream | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Cayenne pepper | 1 Pinch | |
| Black pepper salt | 1 To taste | |
| 1 medium green pepper, pith and seeds removed and shredded | ||
| 1 large eating apple, cored and diced | ||
| Pineapple | 1 Small, peeled | |
| Celery stalks | 3 Large, sliced | |
| Orange | 1 Large, thinly sliced | |
| Banana | 1 , sliced | |
| Lettuce leaves | 6 Large | |
| Radishes | 4 , thinly sliced | |
| Chives | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
Directions
Beat together the cream cheese, cream, lemon juice, cayenne and salt and pepper to taste.
Put the green pepper, apple, pineapple, celery, orange and banana in a mixing bowl and pour over the cream cheese mixture.
Toss well to coat all the fruit and vegetables.
Chill for at least 30 minutes.
Line a glass salad bowl with the lettuce leaves and pile the fruit and vegetable mixture on top.
Arrange the radish slices around the edge and sprinkle over the chives.
Serve immediately.
