Flemish Asparagus Recipe

Ingredients
3-4 pounds asparagus
4 hard boiled eggs, halved
8 thin slices boiled ham, formed into rolls
1 cup melted butter
Small dish of grated nutmeg
Directions
Wash the asparagus, break off the woody part of the stalks and peel the lower third of asparagus spears.
Tie the asparagus in bunches of 8 to 10 spears.
Drop the asparagus into boiling, salted water to cover and cook 10 to 15 minutes or until the stalks are just tender.
Do not allow the asparagus to become limp and soggy.
Drain the asparagus, untie the bundles and place on a warm serving dish with the tips all pointing in the same direction.
Garnish with the eggs and ham.
