Flank Steak Chinese Style Recipe
Ingredients
| Fried-rice mix - 1 pkg (7 oz) | ||
| Flank steak | 1 1/2 Pound | |
| Pepper red | 1 To taste | |
| Medium onion - 1, sliced | ||
| Bamboo shoots | 1 Can (10oz) (Salad oil - 3 tablespoons) | |
| Bean sprouts | 1 Can (10oz) (Salad oil - 3 tablespoons) | |
| Soy sauce | ||
| Ground ginger | 1/8 Teaspoon (Salad oil - 3 tablespoons) | |
Directions
MAKING
1 As per the package label directions, prepare the rice mix.
2 Slice the steak across the grain 1/4 inch thick, about 1 1/2 inches long using a sharp knife.
3 Wash the pepper thoroughly and removing the seeds and ribs, cut into 1 1/2-inch strips.
4 In a very large skillet, heat oil and saute the flank steak for about 5 minutes or just until brown and tender.
5 Add in onion and pepper strips, cook on high heat for about 3 minutes or until tender.
6 Mix in the bamboo shoots along with 3 tablespoons soy sauce and ginger; heat.
7 Transfer to a heated platter.
SERVING
8 Serve with rice and soy sauce.
