 All purpose flour2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Shortening2/3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Ice water 4 Tablespoon

Directions

Combine flour and salt in a bowl.
Add shortening and cut in with pastry blender until crumbly in texture.
Sprinkle water on mixture and stir with a fork to form a ball.
Divide pastry in half and wrap each half in plastic wrap.
Chill several minutes before rolling out.
When ready to shape, roll each pastry on a floured surface to 1/8 inch thick.
Place in 9-inch glass pie plate.
Prick sides and bottom evenly with a fork.
Microwave at HIGH 5 to 7 minutes or until dry-looking and not doughy.
Cool before filling.
