Flaky Biscuits Recipe
Ingredients
| All purpose flour | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 3 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1/4 cup acceptable vegetable oil | ||
| Skim milk | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Preheat oven to 450° F.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt together into a mixing bowl.
Set aside.
Pour oil and milk into a measuring cup but do not stir.
Add all at once to flour mixture.
Stir quickly with a fork until dough clings together.
Knead dough lightly about 10 times.
Place dough on a 12-x-16-inch piece of wax paper.
Pat dough out until it is about 1/2 inch thick.
Cut with an unfloured, medium-size cookie cutter.
Place biscuits on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake 12 to 15 minutes.
