FLAKED BARLEY Recipe
Flaked Barley is a delicious side dish. And the best part is that it is very high on nutrition.

Ingredients
| Barley flakes | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter | 1 Ounce | |
| White stock | 2 Pint | |
| Top milk | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Herbs/Dried herbs 1/4 tsp | 1⁄4 Teaspoon, dried | |
| Onion | 1 , shredded | |
| Turnip | 1 , diced | |
| Carrot | 1 , diced | |
| Seasoning | To Taste | |
| Parsley | 1 Teaspoon (For garnishing) |
Directions
MAKING
1. In a pan, melt butter.
2. Add onions and diced vegetables and fry it over a low flame stirring frequently for 5 minutes.
3. Add barley flakes, hot white stock and herbs. Let it simmer for 20 minutes, stirring it frequently.
4. Season as desired. Add milk.
SERVING
5. Serve Flaked Barley topped with chopped parsley.
