Flake Pie Crust Recipe
How can anyone not agree with me that this Flake Pie Crust is simply delicious? It is the answer when you look for a tasty Side Dish. Is it you or the aroma of Flake Pie Crust that you happen to be making that has dragged me in the direction of the kitchen?, were my partner's words.
Ingredients
1 3/4 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cubes butter
1/3 cup ice water
Directions
Sift flour and salt into mixing bowl and cut in butter using two table knives, one in each hand, until mixture is in pea-size bits.
Sprinkle in water a tablespoon at a time, stirring with fork until dough forms a ball (all water may not be required).
Wrap in wax paper and chill before rolling out for best results.
