Five Spice Chicken Wings Recipe
Ingredients
| Chicken wings | 2 Kilogram | |
| Five spice powder | 1 Teaspoon, toasted | |
| Honey | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Peanut oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| 1 tablespoon finely grated fresh ginger | ||
| Sesame oil | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Sesame seeds | 1 Tablespoon, toasted | |
Directions
1. Remove wing tips from chicken; reserve for another use. Cut chicken in half at second joint. Score each chicken piece twice.
2. Combine chicken, five-spice powder, honey, peanut oil, garlic, ginger and sesame oil in large bowl. Cover; refrigerate 3 hours or overnight.
3. Place chicken, in single layer, in lightly oiled baking dish; cook in very hot oven about 25 minutes or until browned all over and cooked through.
4. Serve chicken sprinkled with sesame seeds. Accompany with fried rice, green salad, soy dipping sauce or a small bowl of finely chopped fresh chillies, if desired.
