1 pound whitefish fillets Vegetable cooking spray
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper
1 small onion, sliced
1/2 medium-size green pepper, cut into thin strips
1 tomato, peeled and sliced
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt Dash of pepper
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
3 (1-ounce) slices provolone cheese
Directions
Wash fish and pat dry.
Place fish, skin side down, on an 18- x 12-irich piece of aluminum foil coated with cooking spray.
Sprinkle fish with lemon juice and lemon pepper.
Top fish with sliced onion, green pepper strips, and tomato slices.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce; dot with 1 tablespoon butter.
Bring edges of foil up around fish and seal; bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
Open foil; top fish with a layer of cheese.
Reseal foil, and bake an additional 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese melts.
