Fish Rolls Recipe
If fed up of the usual Fish Rolls, it's time to try out something new. Here's a simple and delicious recipe for Fish Rolls that you would want to try!
Ingredients
2 tablespoons pickle relish
1 tablespoon minced onion
1 pound frozen cod or halibut fillets, defrosted
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour 1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
Dash of pepper
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 pound American cheese, shredded
Directions
Combine relish and onion.
Spread evenly over tops of fish fillets.
Roll up jelly roll fashion, secure with toothpicks and place in baking dish.
Melt butter in a saucepan.
Stir in flour, milk and seasonings.
Cook over moderate heat, stirring con- stantly, until smooth and thickened.
Stir in cheese and stir until cheese melts.
Spoon sauce over top of rolled fish fillets.
Bake in a moderate oven (325°F) 25 to 30 minutes.
Serve hot.
