Fish Fried In Batter Recipe

Ingredients
| 1/2 pound filet of fish | ||
| Flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 3/4 cup water, scant | ||
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Enough oil for deep frying | ||
Directions
Sift the baking powder with the flour and mix with water to make a thin batter.
Do not have it too runny.
Set it aside for a few minutes.
Cut the filet of fish into 1 inch strips; season with pepper and salt.
Heat a pan filled up to 2 inches of oil and bring it to boiling point.
Dip the fish in the batter and drop it in the oil and fry till it is golden brown.
Serve immediately with side dishes of thick, imported soy sauce.
