Fish Fillets with Sauce Supreme Recipe
This is a tasty Fish Fillet made with flounder fillets and is served with delicious Sauce Supreme. Perfect to go for any occasion at home!
Ingredients
| Flounder Fillets – 6 (1/2 pound each) | ||
| Salt and White Pepper to taste | ||
| Lemon juice | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) (Salad Oil – 1/3 cup) | |
| Mushrooms | 1/2 Pound, sliced (Salad Oil – 1/3 cup) | |
| Onion – 1 medium, sliced | ||
| Parsley | 2 Tablespoon, chopped (Salad Oil – 1/3 cup) | |
| Cornstarch | 2 Teaspoon (Salad Oil – 1/3 cup) | |
| Milk | 1 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) (Salad Oil – 1/3 cup) | |
| Egg yolks | 2 (Salad Oil – 1/3 cup) | |
| Fresh or Frozen Asparagus - 1 ½ pounds, cooked | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat the oven to 425F
2) Place the fillets in a flat dish and brush with oil
MAKING
3) Season the fillets with salt, pepper and a tablespoon of lemon juice
4) Allow to rest for 15 minutes
5) In a frying pan, spoon in 2 tablespoons of oil and sauté the mushrooms and onion till tender
6) Add in the parsley, and spread the mixture on the fillets
7) Roll the fillets and secure them tightly with a string
8) Place the rolled fish in a baking dish and bake for 25 minutes at 425F
9) Meanwhile, in a bowl combine the cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of milk till smooth
10) In a saucepan, pout the remaining milk and add the cornstarch mixture
11) Over a low heat , cook till the sauce thickens, stirring continuously
12) Boil the mixture, for a minute and take off from the heat
13) Mix in the egg yolks and the remaining lemon juice, salad oil and using a fork beat till everything is well combined
14) Arrange the asparagus around the fish and pour the sauce over
15) Broil the fish till browned
