 Fish1/2 Kilogram
 Red chilli powder2 Teaspoon
 Coriander seeds3 Tablespoon
 Fennel saunf) - 1 tsp
 Poppy seeds1 Tablespoon
 Oil3 Tablespoon (For Seasoning)
 Mustard1/2 Teaspoon (For Seasoning)
 Black gram1/2 Teaspoon (For Seasoning)
 Fenugreek1/4 Teaspoon (For Seasoning)
 Fennel1/2 Teaspoon (For Seasoning)
 Â·Curry leaves - few
 Onion1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped (For Seasoning)
 Garlic10 Gram, chopped (For Seasoning)
 Tomatoes1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped (For Seasoning)
 Â·Tamarind extract - to taste
 Salt1 To taste (For Seasoning)

Directions

Wash the fish slices.

Grind red chillies with coriander seeds, fennel and poppy seeds.

Heat oil, season with mustard, black gram dal, saunf, fenugreek and curry leaves.
A
dd garlic and onion and fry till onions are light brown.

Add ground masala, fry well.

Add tomato and tamarind extract. Simmer for a few minutes.
Add fish and salt. Cook till done
