Fish Chowder Recipe
Ingredients
| Fat salt pork- 1/4 pound, sliced | ||
| Fish | 2 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked | |
| Small potatoes- 6, sliced | ||
| Onions | 2 | |
| Boiling water | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk | 1 Pint | |
| Pilot biscuits- 3 | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
MAKING
1.In a deep kettle, place the salt pork and fry it
2.Once the pork has turned crisp, remove it and put fish, potatoes and onions in the kettle
3.Now pour boiling water and cover the ingredients completely
4.Keep simmering for 90 minutes until the potato turns tender
5.Now add milk to the kettle and cook for 5 minutes
6.Season with salt and pepper
SERVING
7.Serve over rice
