Fish And Vegetable Casserole Recipe
Fish And Vegetable Casserole is the apt recipe to tickle your taste buds. I prefer to make Fish And Vegetable Casserole as a Main Dish for all my family get-togethers. My friends tried this Fish And Vegetable Casserole the other day and they simply adored it. Do I need to say more?
Ingredients
2 cupful flaked, cooked or canned haddock
1/2 cupful cooked lima or string beans
1/2 cupful soft bread crumbs
1 tablespoonful finely chopped parsley
1/2 cupful grated cheese
1 cupful cooked peas
1 tablespoonful finely chopped onion
1 teaspoonful salt
1/8 teaspoonful pepper
3 eggs, beaten
1 tablespoonful chopped pimiento
1 1/2 cupful milk
Directions
Combine all the ingredients and turn into a greased casserole.
Set in a pan of warm water and bake in a slow oven of 350° F. for 75 min. or until a silver knife inserted in the center of the mixture comes out clean.
Serve plain or with Mushroom Sauce or Green Pea Sauce .
Cod, salmon, crab meat, lobster or shrimp freshly cooked or canned may be substituted for the haddock in this recipe.
