Fish Timbale Recipe
Ingredients
| Cooked potato - 1 lb | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 1 1/2 Ounce | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Salt | 1 To taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
| Any cooked fish - 1/2 lb | ||
| White sauce | 1/2 Pint (Filling) | |
| Anchovy essence - 1 teaspoonful | ||
| Pepper | To Taste (Filling) | |
| Salt | 1 To taste (Filling) | |
| Hard boiled egg - 1 | ||
| Tomatoes | 2 (Filling) | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1.Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
2.Wash and cut tomatoes in quarters.
3.Bake for 20 minutes.
MAKING
4.Sieve the potatoes when hot and add butter, beaten eggs, salt and pepper to it.
5.Heat the mixture by stirring well.
6.Place the dough on floured board and roll to make a roll of 2 inch thickness.
7.Take a greased baking tray, put the roll on it with joined ends forming an oval of 3-4 inches height.
8.Apply beaten eggs and bake for 20 minutes.
9.Meanwhile, add flaked fish to sauce along with salt and pepper.
10.Add tomatoes and fill the baked pastry with the mixture.
SERVING
11.Serve garnished with hard boiled egg and tomato.
