Garlic Flavored Fish Stock Recipe
Ingredients
| 3 pounds fish bones | ||
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Water | 4 Quart | |
| Thyme | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Bay leaves | 3 | |
| Garlic | 3 Clove (5gm), unpeeled | |
| 2 onions, coarsely chopped | ||
| Peppercorns | 10 | |
| 2 large carrots, coarsely chopped | ||
| 1 cup chopped leeks | ||
| 2 stalks celery with leaves | ||
| Salt | 2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
1. Wash the fish bones in several changes of water.
2. Put the butter into a large kettle over medium heat and when it melts add fish bones and water.
3. Cook, stirring, about five minutes. Add remaining ingredients and bring to the boil. Simmer thirty minutes and strain.
