Fish Kebabs With Banana Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| 750 g white fish fillets, cut into 5 cm cubes | ||
| Peanut oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| BANANA SAUCE | ||
| 20 g polyunsaturated margarine | ||
| Brown sugar | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Evaporated milk | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Yoghurt | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Bananas | 4 Medium, sliced | |
| Chopped nuts | 2 Tablespoon, toasted | |
Directions
1.Thread fish onto twelve oiled wooden skewers.
Brush with oil and grill or barbecue for 3-4 minutes each side.
2.To make sauce, melt margarine in a trypan.
Remove pan from heat.
3.Dissolve brown sugar in evaporated milk.
Stir evaporated milk mixture and yoghurt into melted margarine.
Add bananas and nuts and cook gently over low heat for 1-2 minutes.
4.Arrange kebabs on a serving plate, spoon over sauce and serve immediately.
