Ingredients
| Fish | 250 Gram | |
| Turmeric | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 1 green chilli, chopped fine | ||
| 1/4 ginger, chopped fine | ||
| Garlic | 4 Clove (5gm) | |
| Fenugreek | 2 Bunch (100gm), chopped | |
| Green leaves of fresh garlic, chopped fine | ||
| Coriander leaves, chopped fine | ||
| 2 green tomatoes, chopped fine | ||
| Ghee | 8 Tablespoon | |
| Coriander powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Clean the fish and cut it into pieces.
Coat it with turmeric and fry it lightly.
Season with salt.
Heat ghee in a heavy, flat pan on a moderate fire.
Fry the ginger and green chilli till quite brown, stirring continuously.
Add the tomatoes and spices and coriander and fenugreek and cook on a low fire for five minutes, or till the tomatoes become soft.
Cover with a shallow lid filled with water.
Cook for fifteen minutes.
Then add the fried fish and after five minutes turn the fish.
Cook for five more minutes.
