Fish In Cilantro Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Fish fillets | 6 , frozen | |
| Onion | 1 Small, sliced | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Cooking oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Toasted almonds | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lime juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Jalapeno pepper | 1/2 To taste, pickled | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| 1/2 cup snipped cilantro or parsley | ||
Directions
Thaw frozen fish.
Cook onion and garlic in oil till tender but not brown.
Add the almonds, lime juice, jalapeno pepper, the 1/2 teaspoon salt, and pepper.
Heat through.
In a well-greased 13x9x2-inch baking dish arrange fish fillets; sprinkle lightly with salt.
Top with onion mixture.
Sprinkle evenly with cilantro or parsley.
Bake, covered, in 350° oven for 40 minutes or till fish flakes easily with a fork.
