Ingredients

 Small fish 500 gm.
 Onions225 Gram (For 4)
 Turmeric a pinch
 Chillies5 Gram (For 4)
 Mustard seeds5 Gram (For 4)
 Cumin3 Gram (For 4)
 Garlic5 Gram (For 4)
 Oil15 Milliliter (For 4)
 Salt To Taste (For 4)

Directions

1. Clean and wash the fish, smear with turmeric and salt.
2. Grind mustard seeds, cumin, garlic, half the onions and chillies to a fine paste.
3. Chop remaining onions.
4. Heat oil. Fry chopped onions. Add fish and fry.
5. Add ground spices and a little water.
6. Cover and simmer till fish is cooked (about. 15-20 minutes).
