Home Style Fish Chowder Recipe

Ingredients
8 oz. fish fillets
3/4 c. diced carrots
1/2 oz. fat
3/4 c. diced potatoes
1 rasher bacon or 2 rinds
1 c. milk
1 small onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. water or Fish Stock
Pinch of pepper
Chopped parsley
Directions
Cut the fish in small pieces, removing any skin.
Chop the bacon, and brown in the fat with the onion, using a saucepan.
Add the fish stock or water and bring to the boil.
Add the carrots and boil until nearly tender.
Then add the potatoes and seasoning and cook until tender.
Add the fish and simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the milk and reheat.
Taste for seasoning.
