Tuna And Salt Pork Chowder Recipe
Ingredients
| Mackerel | 1 1/2 Pound | |
| Pork | 1/4 Pound, salted | |
| Onions | 1 Cup (16 tbs), minced | |
| Potatoes | 2 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| Boiling water | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Light cream | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper white | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Powdered ginger | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Parsley | 1 Teaspoon, chopped |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Skin the fish and debone it, discard the skin and bones.
MAKING
2) In a non-stick pan, brown the pork, discard the pieces but not the fat.
3) To the fat, add the onions, fish and cook over low heat for 5 minutes.
4) Add potatoes and water.
5) Cover and cook for 30 minutes more over low heat.
FINALIZING
6) Stir in the cream, salt, pepper and ginger.
7) Check for seasoning.
SERVING
8) Serve hot, garnished with parsley.
