Ingredients

 Butter2 Tablespoon
 Onion3/4 Cup (16 tbs), diced
 Celery1/2 Cup (16 tbs), diced
 Raw potatoes - 2 cups diced
 Carrots1/2 Cup (16 tbs), diced
 Table cream (optional) - 3/4 cup
 Salt1 1/2 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/2 Teaspoon
 Boiling water2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Milk2 Cup (16 tbs)
 White fish fillet1 pound

Directions

MAKING
1. In heavy saucepan melt butter and with cover simmer vegetables and seasonings in added boiling water.
2. Add uncooked fish, cut in bite size pieces and simmer with cover for 10 minutes longer.
3. Add milk, heat, but do not boil and season to taste.

SERVING
4. Optionally add other seafood, such as a can of clams, crab meat or lobster and serve.
