Directions

Place cubed potatoes in a heavy saucepan along with onion and cover mixture barely with water.
Let boil until potatoes are partly cooked.
Cut fish into pieces and put on top of potatoes.
If water in pan is not sufficient, add enough to barely cover fish.
Cook on medium heat until fish flakes with fork.
Add milk and seasoning to taste just before serving.
Top with fried salt pork bits.
