Ingredients
Fillet of Sole- 1 pound
Shrimp- 1/2 pound , shelled and deveined
Scallions- 3nos, chopped finely
Salt- 1 teaspoon
Pepper- 1/8 teaspoon
Powdered Ginger- 1/2 teaspoon
Cornstarch- 1 teaspoon
Oil- 2 tablespoons
Dashi- 6 cups or Beef Broth- 3 cups
Clam Juice- 3 cups
Spinach- 1/2 pound , shredded
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Grind together the sole, shrimp and scallions.
2) Add salt, pepper, ginger, cornstarch and oil, to the fish mixture.
MAKING
3) Shape the mixture into walnut size balls.
4) In a saucepan, bring dashi or the broth and clam juice to a boil.
5) Carefully drop the fish balls and spinach into it.
6) Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.
SERVING
7) Serve it hot, in a warm soup bowl.
