Fish And Lettuce Soup Recipe
Ingredients
1 tablespoon peanut oil
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 quart Chinese Chicken Soup
2 slices ginger
1/2 pound boneless thin-sliced whitefish fillet
1 head iceberg lettuce, chopped
Salt to taste
Light soy sauce to taste
Sesame oil to taste
3 green onions, chopped
Directions
Saute the garlic in the peanut oil.
Bring the soup to a boil.
Add the ginger and the garlic.
Add the fish.
Simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the iceberg lettuce.
Cook for 2 minutes.
Add the salt, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
Bring the soup to a boil.
